The Skin Collector  (Lincoln Rhyme, #11)The Skin Collector by Jeffery Deaver

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No review, other than I loved it.

Want Ad Wedding (Cowboy Creek #1)Want Ad Wedding by Cheryl St. John

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

It was okay, but I ended up giving up on the book. I just couldn't bring myself to care about the characters.

In the NightIn the Night by Melissa Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow....Just Wow

You must read this book! It is so well written, I didn't even skip the sex scenes. While I had an inkling of who the bad guy was, I was really surprised at the end.

Iced Chiffon (Consignment Shop Mystery, #1)Iced Chiffon by Duffy Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Really liked this book, even though I'm not real crazy about amateur detectives. But it is well written, with great character development. I will have to read the following books because I loved the interactions between Reagan and Boone; and Reagan and Big Joey. I want to see if Reagan and Boone end up in a relationship. And if Hollis gets what's coming to him.

Fighting for Irish (Fighting for Love, #3)Fighting for Irish by Gina L. Maxwell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I actually read the paperback version. Couldn't put it down. Highly recommend this book to anyone who likes Contemporary Romance. The hero is an MMA fighter so if you don't like that kind of character, avoid.

A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2)A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I skipped a lot of the book. Read only the chapters of the characters I was interested in. This did not impact the understanding of any of those chapters or the plot of the book.

The Last MoveThe Last Move by Mary Burton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another excellent book from Mary Burton. So far I have not found a book of hers that disappointed me. I was entranced the entire way through the book. This is a THRILLER, that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire way through, guessing who and why the entire way to the end. And then there is always an ending where I think "Well I didn't see THAT coming." Thank you Mary for another great thriller.

A Royal Apocalypse (Lady Slayalot #1)A Royal Apocalypse by Louisa Lo

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn't sure about this book when I first started reading it. But as I got farther and farther into the story, I couldn't put it down. The idea is so original, and quirky I loved it, right up to the end. The character development is amazing. I was a bit put out to find it's continued in the next book, which isn't out yet. I want it right away. This is definitely a series I will continue to read.

I just couldn't finish the book, which is unusual for me. I generally love a Victoria Alexander book.

Gripping

This story is so enthralling I couldn't put it down. Now to re-read from book 1 and start Maggie's journey all over.
