A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I skipped a lot of the book. Read only the chapters of the characters I was interested in. This did not impact the understanding of any of those chapters or the plot of the book.

The Last Move by Mary Burton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another excellent book from Mary Burton. So far I have not found a book of hers that disappointed me. I was entranced the entire way through the book. This is a THRILLER, that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire way through, guessing who and why the entire way to the end. And then there is always an ending where I think "Well I didn't see THAT coming." Thank you Mary for another great thriller.

A Royal Apocalypse by Louisa Lo

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn't sure about this book when I first started reading it. But as I got farther and farther into the story, I couldn't put it down. The idea is so original, and quirky I loved it, right up to the end. The character development is amazing. I was a bit put out to find it's continued in the next book, which isn't out yet. I want it right away. This is definitely a series I will continue to read.

I just couldn't finish the book, which is unusual for me. I generally love a Victoria Alexander book.

This story is so enthralling I couldn't put it down. Now to re-read from book 1 and start Maggie's journey all over.
